Is this a good costume idea? - used fire helmets

I used to run a race car and I gave it all my stuff (helmet, fireproof overalls, gloves and shoes), not so Im sure if it carried out dressed in a dance of some gay students as a real car (no one knows that I Last year was) or else I could do? We can not carry what our faces I'm not sure what to hide. Similarly, mountain bikes and racing, cycling shorts and jersey now, shoes, helmets, but I think it's still gay as a racer
